Hoshiarpur- An impressive cybercrime awareness seminar was organized by Drishti Da Vision Forum Hoshiarpur in the library auditorium Sadhu Ashram. After welcoming the guests and informing them about the purpose of the seminar by the forum convenor Dr. Dharampal Sahil, the keynote speaker Jagjit Singh (computer expert) made the large number of participants aware by giving detailed information about the background of cyber networking, types of cybercrime and its prevention.
He described cybercrime as the most dangerous crime of the 21st century and said that awareness regarding it is the only way to protect against it because in this the criminal hunts his prey by remaining out of sight and it becomes very difficult to find his clue after the crime. On this occasion, the chief guest, famous social worker and litterateur Varinder Parihar described such awareness seminars as the need of the hour. Master Kulwinder Singh Janda said that he was overwhelmed by the new information related to cybercrime.
Advocate Divya Menon said that her knowledge has increased due to this awareness seminar. Dr. Ritubala, Chairperson of Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya Sadhu Ashram, thanked the organizers and the guests and said that the social awareness programs being conducted jointly will benefit the students as well as the common people. The presidium was also honored by the forum.
