Lalru- As part of the war against drugs campaign launched by the Punjab Government and Punjab Police, a huge awareness rally will be taken out on 6th May from 8 am to 9.30 am by the students and staff of Samta Public School Lalru Mandi with the support of dozens of social leaders, farmers, electricity and police personnel, clubs and other social organizations of Lalru area.
Giving information in this regard, MD of Samta Public School Sarabjit Singh Bhatti said that the main objective of this awareness rally will be to make people aware against drugs, adulteration and substandard food and beverages.
On this occasion, SDM Derabassi Amit Gupta, DSP Derabassi Bikramjit Singh Brar and former Civil Surgeon Dr. Daler Singh Multani will flag off this awareness rally. This rally will start from the school and will pass through the main market of Lalru Mandi and will end back at the school.
During this, school children will walk with placards carrying slogans in their hands and the chief guest will make the residents aware through his address. He said that all the residents of the area are invited to join this rally.
