
Army truck falls into deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban, three jawans killed.
Ramban/Jammu, May 4 - Three security personnel were killed when an army truck fell into a 700-feet deep gorge on the side of the road in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district. Officials said the army truck was part of a convoy going from Jammu to Srinagar along National Highway 44. The accident took place near Battery Chashma at around 11:30 am.

According to officials, a joint operation was launched for rescue operations with the help of the Army, Police, SDRF and local volunteers. Three army personnel travelling in the vehicle died on the spot, who have been identified as Sepoy Amit Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Mann Bahadur. Their bodies have been pulled out of the gorge. The vehicle was badly damaged in the accident.
