SAS Nagar, May 5 - The 302nd birth anniversary of the great general of the Sikh community, Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Ji, was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Ramgarhia Bhawan (Regd.), SAS Nagar. On this occasion, after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji, the International Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Parshotam Singh Sahi, the women of the Istri Satsang Jatha, Bhai Balihar Singh, Bibi Kanwaljit Kaur Maskeen Shahbad Markanda Wale, Bhai Gurnam Singh Mohi, delighted the congregation with their varied Kirtan, Katha and Dhadi Var.
On this occasion, President of Global Ramgarhia Heritage and Welfare Organization (Regd.) and former President of Ramgarhia Sabha Mohali Sardar Ajit Singh Ranauta attended as the chief guest while eminent builder Sardar Balwinder Singh, social worker Sardar Mahinder Singh were the special guests. During the event, respected personalities Sardar Amarjit Singh Sidhu, Mayor Mohali, former Health Minister Sardar Balbir Singh Sidhu, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, former Member of Parliament also attended.
General Secretary of the Sabha S. Bikramjit Singh Hunjhan said that during this event organized under the leadership of President Sardar Surat Singh Kalsi, the speaker shed light on the life and history of Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Ji and inspired to take guidance from his life.
