Garhshankar- Aasan Employees Union CITU held a meeting at the party office in Garhshankar today on 1/5/25 to celebrate Labor Day and shared its views in the presence of President Joginder Kaur, Secretary Binderpal Kaur, Vice President Balwinder Kaur and Mahinder Kumar Badhoan.
In the meeting, issues like constant harassment of government scheme workers, getting additional work done without incentives, not getting incentives on time etc. were discussed. The four labor codes being forcibly imposed by the government should be repealed and Aasan employees should be given a fixed salary of Rs 26,000 per month, gratuity of Rs 5 lakh and pension of Rs 10,000 per month. There is a lot of anger among the employees and facilitators, due to which a large number of people will participate in the nationwide strike on 20/05/25.
They will be made aware of the wrong and anti-people policies of the government. Aasan workers will participate in large numbers in this strike. These views were expressed by Binderpal Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Balwinder Kaur and Mahinder Kumar Badhoan. Aasan workers in Hoshiarpur will participate in the strike in large numbers.
