Nawanshahr- Under the orders received from the Honorable Member Secretary Punjab State Legal Services Authority S. A. S. Nagar and under the guidance of the Honorable District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood, under the leadership of Honorable Dr. Amandeep, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, a free seminar on legal awareness and beneficiary schemes was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on 01.05.2025 at Gram Panchayat Village Kamam. 
On this occasion, Honorable Dr. Amandeep, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar congratulated the Gram Panchayat village Kamam and all the residents of the town, Kirtia on International Labour Day and made them aware about various free legal services, government beneficiary schemes, social security measures available for the workers.
 Apart from this, awareness was made about the District Legal Services Authority, S.B.S. Nagar and he told that if any person or their family member needs free legal assistance in labor cases and other cases, then he can get free legal assistance by calling the District Legal Services Authority office on telephone number 01823-223511 and Punjab State Legal Services toll free number 15100. 
Apart from this, Mr. Baldev Bharti, Para Legal Volunteer also made them aware about their rights under labor laws and other schemes and motivated them to make labor cards and also made them aware about the facilities available in this regard. On this occasion, Jarnail Singh, Simran Jyot Para Legal Volunteer and Kulwinder Kaur Sarpanch and Panchayat Member were present.
