Garhshankar 1 May- Democratic Teachers Front Punjab and Safai Mazdoor Union Garhshankar together paid tribute to the workers on May Day at the local Gandhi Park. Talking about the glorious history of May Day at this time, employee leaders Mukesh Kumar, Sukhdev Dancewal and labor leader Sodhi Ram said that after a long struggle, the workers had achieved some achievements in the past, which are now being abolished through corporate policies.
Which included salary, scale, various facilities given to the workers, working hours, right to protest together, but now due to corporate policies and pressure, the rulers have decided to abolish all these facilities and squeeze the blood of the workers. He said that there is a need to wage a big and fierce struggle against these policies.
