Hoshiarpur - According to the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, during the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 in the Hoshiarpur district, the state for conducting the activities of the 'Sweep' campaign in a smooth and systematic manner to increase the vote poll percentage and to make the voters aware. Hoshiarpur district has got the first position at the level. For this achievement, the overall sweep of the district is to be congratulated.
            Expressing this, District Election Officer Komal Mittal said that it is a matter of great pride that Hoshiarpur district got the first position from across the state in the sweep activities conducted by the Chief Election Officer Punjab from April 16 to 30. He said that in this ranking, Ferozepur has got the second place, SAS Nagar has got the third place, Jalandhar has got the fourth place and Patiala has got the fifth place.
He congratulated District Sweep Coordinator Divya P (IAS), District Election Office, District Sweep Nodal Officer Preet Kohli, Assistant Sweep Nodal Officer Ankur Sharma and the entire sweep team. That every possible effort will be made to increase the poll percentage in the district during the Lok Sabha elections. He said that due to the dedication and hard work of the team, the district has received such great honor from the entire Punjab and for that they all deserve congratulations. He said that activities were presented in a unique way by the sweep team to make people aware about the votes.
              He said that special efforts have been made for voter awareness with the support of various departments to conduct the sweep activities in the district in a smooth manner. He said that thanks to the tireless efforts of the entire sweep team, district Hoshiarpur has got this honor at the state level.
