Two policemen injured in encounter in Bandipora
Srinagar: A militant operative was killed and two security personnel were injured in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Friday. Officials said that security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Kulnar Bajipora of Bandipora district after receiving information about the presence of militants in the area. They said that the search operation turned into an encounter after militants hiding at a place opened fire on the security forces. During this, two police personnel were injured in the firing by the militants. More details are awaited in this regard.
