Helping Angels honored students - Upkar Singh

Thousands of people are dying every day due to increasing traffic accidents, fires, gases, electricity and petroleum incidents and there is heavy damage to properties and vehicles, so it is necessary to make students aware to make them helpers of the victims, this idea was expressed by Mr. Upkar Singh, President of Gyan Jyoti Education Society, while honoring students from various schools at Aryan Kanya Senior Secondary School.

Chief Trainer of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission Mr. Kaka Ram Verma and Principal of the school Mrs. Santosh Goyal said that by providing training to students on disaster management, first aid, fire safety, traffic rules and laws, in the future, life and property losses can be reduced and helping angels can be prepared. 
On this occasion, the chief guest of the event, District Fire Officer of Punjab Fire and Emergency Services Rajinder Consul gave information about the causes of fires in houses, factories, vehicles and buildings, gas leakage, electrical short circuits, methods of extinguishing fires and the efforts being taken by the fire brigade personnel to save precious lives and properties. 
Mrs. Ravinder Kaur Sidhu, Sub Inspector Ajit Kaur, ASI Ram Saran, Police Traffic Education Cell, Gurjap Singh, Alka Arora, emphasized that students at educational institutions should cooperate in conducting training exercises and mock drills to make teachers and through them parents the helping angels of the victim. 
On this occasion, students from Aryan Kanya School, Sony Public School, National High School, Tenny James High School and SD Model School who performed well during the competitions on use of fire safety cylinders, first aid, CPR, ventilator, and artificial respiration were honored with prize certificates.
