It is worth mentioning that earlier, Dubey targeted the Supreme Court and said that if the law is made only by the Supreme Court, then Parliament and the Legislative Assemblies should be closed. In this regard, Dubey first posted on X, after which he spoke to the agency and alleged that the Supreme Court is taking the law-making power of Parliament into its own hands by nullifying the laws passed by the Legislative Assembly, not only this but is also giving directions to the President. He accused the court of encouraging religious war in the country. He had written on ‘X’, ‘If only the Supreme Court makes laws, then the Parliament building should be closed.’ His comment came at a time when the Supreme Court is hearing several petitions challenging the constitutionality of the Waqf (Amendment) Act. After this, the opposition parties have strongly condemned this statement of the BJP leader and demanded action against the leader. Apart from this, many members of the opposition parties said that the Supreme Court will take cognizance of the matter and take action.
