
Area MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated development works worth Rs 40.50 lakh in schools of Jujhar Nagar, Jhampur and Taroli.
SAS Nagar April 16, 2025: As part of Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan of Punjab Government to provide modern facilities in the schools of Punjab, development works worth Rs 40.50 lakh in three schools of SAS Nagar district, Government Primary School Jujhar Nagar, Government Primary School Jhampur and Government Primary School Taroli during the tenure of Aam Aadmi Party government were inaugurated by Kulwant Singh, Area MLA, Mohali.
SAS Nagar April 16, 2025: As part of Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan of Punjab Government to provide modern facilities in the schools of Punjab, development works worth Rs 40.50 lakh in three schools of SAS Nagar district, Government Primary School Jujhar Nagar, Government Primary School Jhampur and Government Primary School Taroli during the tenure of Aam Aadmi Party government were inaugurated by Kulwant Singh, Area MLA, Mohali.
He inaugurated 2 smart classrooms constructed at a cost of Rs 15 lakh in Government Primary School Jujhar Nagar, smart classroom constructed at a cost of Rs 10.50 lakh and boundary wall repair work in Government Primary School, village Jhampur. Apart from this, development work of smart classroom and boundary wall repair work in Government Primary School, village Taroli was inaugurated at a cost of Rs 15 lakh.
Constituency MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains is taking many new initiatives to develop Punjab in every aspect. Under this, they are paying special attention to the health and education of the people of the state. He said that to keep pace with the times, every work that the school needs should be done in the village school and all kinds of facilities should be available in the school so that the children can get a good environment for studies.
He said that ever since the Aam Aadmi Party government has come to power in Punjab, there has been a revolution in education. The number of children in government schools has increased by 10 percent from before. The government is providing every facility in government schools so that the level of education can be raised. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is constantly making efforts to raise the level of health services and education in Punjab. Under which, medical insurance facility of Rs 10 lakh has been provided to about 65 lakh families of Punjab. He said that in the field of education, the Punjab Government has started an education revolution to improve the education system of Punjab and to make the future of the children of Punjab secure and good, under which the Government schools of Punjab are providing modern facilities to the students like private schools. The Government schools of Punjab are now no less than any private school. Due to the efforts made by the present Punjab Government to uplift the level of about 20,000 Government schools of Punjab, where about 28 lakh children study, almost every school in Punjab has a boundary wall.
