MLA Jimpa inaugurated the development work of crematorium and dumping ground in ward number 20.

Hoshiarpur- An important initiative was taken to make the dumping ground near Piplawala crematorium in ward number 20 of the city safe and clean. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the wall and other development works to be built at a cost of Rs 23.50 lakh crore.

Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that this construction work was a long-standing demand of the local residents, which is now being fulfilled. With the construction of the wall, not only the dumping ground will be safe, but the surrounding area will also be free from dirt and odor. He also informed that in this regard, facilities are also being upgraded at Piplawala crematorium.
The MLA said that the Municipal Corporation is continuously carrying out development work to make Hoshiarpur a clean and organized city. Councilor Jaswant Rai thanked the government and the corporation on behalf of the local residents and said that this wall will be important for safety as well as cleanliness.
Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Councilor Jaswant Rai and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
