In a press conference held in Una on Wednesday, he said that our entire focus is on maintaining a balance between development and environment and ecology. The guidelines of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), Pollution Control Board and the Central and State Government are being fully followed in every aspect of the project.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this project is taking shape in accordance with the visionary thinking and developmental approach of Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri. He said that only three Bulk Drug Park projects are being set up in the country, one of which is being built in Una. This is a matter of pride for all of us. This project will provide employment to 8 to 10 thousand people.
He appealed to the people of the district not to believe the misleading propaganda being spread about the project. The administration is seriously studying every aspect. Appropriate plans have been prepared for groundwater recharge, pollution control, afforestation and wildlife conservation and work is being done in this direction with a proactive approach.
On this occasion, Joint Director of Industries Department Anshul Dhiman, Superintending Engineer of Water Power Department Naresh Dhiman, DFO Sunil Rana, Superintending Engineer of Electricity Board Balraj Sangar and Regional Officer of Pollution Control Board Praveen Dhiman were present and shared information related to their departments.
