Kharar, April 11- President of District Congress Committee Mohali, S. Ranjit Singh Jeeti Padiala, has stated that incidents of murder, extortion, gang wars, and crime are continuously increasing in the state, and due to the government's weak policies, the law and order situation in Punjab is out of control today. He said that as a result, from the common man to the police and officials associated with law and order are not safe in Punjab.
In a statement issued here, he said that every day news of gangster activities, demands for ransom, and murders of innocent people are coming from somewhere in the state. The most worrying thing is that now these crimes are not limited to the police but are directly targeting police officers, which clearly shows the failure of the state's law and order. 
He said that if the government does not take strict steps immediately, the internal situation, business environment and the future of the youth of the state may face a heavy crisis.
