Hoshiarpur- A sit-in was organized by the LA Congress Committee in front of the district office against the Aam Aadmi Party and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. On this occasion, a large number of workers including District President Arun Dogra Micky, former ministers Sundar Sham Arora and Sangat Singh Giljian, former MLAs Pawan Adia and Indu Bala, District Senior Vice President Rajesh Gupta, Urban President Navpreet Rahil expressed their anger against the 'AAP' government and Bhagwant Mann.
Addressing the workers on this occasion, the leaders said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has lost his mental balance and the derogatory remarks made by him on Rahul Gandhi cannot be condemned enough. He said that this is the same Chief Minister Mann who used to yearn to go on the stage and shake hands with him and today he is speaking in his honor to mislead the public.
The Congress leaders said that Rahul Gandhi is sitting on a constitutional post and is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and has won from two seats. He has travelled thousands of kilometres on foot to know the pain and suffering of the people of the country and he resonates in the Lok Sabha as the voice of the poor and needy people of the country. Not only this, he comes from a martyr's family and two members of his family have been martyred.
It is very sad that a person born in such a great family is not considered a leader of the people or God. The leaders said that Rahul Gandhi is a grassroots leader and he has no ego. Today he can come alone to Punjab from Delhi, but if you leaders have the courage, then go alone to a village and show it. Everyone knows how warmly the people here welcomed him during the elections, how the same people are ready to welcome him today.
He challenged the AAP leaders and said that they can debate on the issue of development whenever they want. He said that what Bhagwant Mann or anyone else says does not matter. Because Rahul Gandhi is not an ordinary person, he is the heartbeat of crores of people, who is performing his duty in the Lok Sabha with full honesty.
