Hoshiarpur- Harbans Singh has been appointed as the President of Ashadeep Welfare Society in JSS Asha Kiran Special School Jahankhela. Earlier, Harbans Singh has been the Secretary of the Society from 2021 to 2025. At that time the President of the Society was CA Taranjit Singh.
Harbans Singh, while assuming the responsibility of the post of President, said that he will fulfill the new responsibility entrusted by the Society members with full devotion and will make every possible effort to improve the future of special children. On this occasion, the executive of the Society was also elected.
In which Colonel Gurmeet Singh was elected as Secretary, Paramjit Singh Sachdeva as Patron, Malkit Singh Mehdu as Advisor, Finance Secretary Harish Chandra Thakur, Vice President Rajesh Jain, Joint Secretary Harmesh Talwar, RCI Committee Chairman Advocate Harish Chandra E.R. Kamaljit Chopra was elected as Chairman of Parents' Committee, CA Taranjit Singh as Finance Advisor, Mastan Singh Grewal as Chairman of Technical Committee, Dr. JS Dardi as Chairman of Medical Committee, Ram Asra as Joint Secretary of Finance, Ram Kumar Sharma as Chairman of School Activity Committee.
On this occasion a bouquet of flowers was presented to Principal Harbans Singh by the school staff. On this occasion CA Taranjit Singh expressed his gratitude to all the committee members and school staff and said that everyone has helped him a lot in the past due to which the school progressed.
