Need to imbibe the teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas: Mukesh Agnihotri

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today paid tribute to Sant Guru Ravidas on his birth anniversary at Gondpur Jaichand. Participating in the function organized by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Naujavan Sabha Gondpur Jaichand on this occasion, he said that Sant Guru Ravidas Ji promoted the principles of equality, social justice and brotherhood during his lifetime.

Participating in the function organized by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Naujavan Sabha Gondpur Jaichand on this occasion, he said that Sant Guru Ravidas Ji promoted the principles of equality, social justice and brotherhood during his lifetime.
His teachings are relevant even today and inspire us to work towards unity, harmony and social justice. We should try to imbibe his teachings in our lives. He said that the society needs to follow the positive teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas. An ideal society can be built by following his teachings.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government is working with commitment to provide better facilities in religious places. He said that remarkable work is being done towards the construction of temples in Haroli Assembly constituency. He said that Rs 50 lakh has been given to Sant Guru Ravidas Mandir Bhadsali, Rs 25 lakh for Saloh, Rs 15 lakh for Dhanpur, Rs 15 lakh for Panjawar, Rs 15 lakh for Waliwal, Rs 25 lakh for Laldi and Rs 15 lakh for Shricharano Mandir Badeda. Along with this, Rs 10 lakh has been given for the construction of the inn of Sant Guru Ravidas Mandir in Haroli.
He said that Rs 25 lakh has been provided for Baba Siddh Jalandhari and Rs 25 lakh has been given for the construction of Beaton's hut. Rs 25 lakh has been given to Sant Baba Dangu Wale. An amount of Rs 10 lakh has been released for the construction of hut in Saloh. Rs 25 lakh has been released for Baba Bal Ji's temple. Rs 25 lakh has been released for Banode Mahadev Mandir Bhadala. Sheetla Mandir is being constructed at a cost of Rs five crore in Ispur. Rs 8 crore has been released for the road to Damamio temple. Rs 25 lakh has been released for Ravi Das temple in Dulahad.
Mukesh Agnihotri approved an amount of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of community building near the newly constructed Varsha Shalika in Gondpur Jaichand. He said that the overall development of the state is being ensured and development works are being speeded up in Haroli assembly constituency. Roads are being constructed in this assembly constituency, tube wells and ponds are being built for irrigation.
He said that an irrigation project is being built in Bathu at a cost of Rs 70 crore with the participation of the people of the area. Employment opportunities are being provided to the youth of the area in the Jal Shakti Department.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the present state government is working towards women empowerment and today daughters are coming forward in every field. He announced to provide incentive amount of Rs 50 thousand to the daughters who were managing the stage in the program while encouraging them.
