
Punjab Government has set new records in the field of education: Brahm Shankar Jimpa.
Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today launched the admission drive of the Education Department at Government Elementary Smart School Shergarh and Government Elementary Smart Aslamabad and said that the Punjab Government has taken many important decisions for teachers and students by paying special attention to the field of education.

On the occasion of the launch of the admission drive, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa, along with the teachers of both the schools and dignitaries of the area, said that the Punjab Government is providing every facility in government schools, which includes free books, free uniforms, mid-day meals, educational tours etc.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, 6 batches of principals and teachers have received training in Singapore and Finland, which is a historic decision of the state government. He said that recently the Punjab Government has sent 72 primary cadre teachers to the University of Turku in Finland for a 10-day training. He said that these training sessions will prove to be helpful in making the future of the students even brighter.
Talking about the facilities in government schools, MLA Jimpa said that at present the infrastructure and level of education of government schools is excellent, for which people should send their children to these schools, where almost all the facilities are provided free of cost. He said that the Punjab government has released Rs 145.75 crore for security and cleanliness in schools and more than 1900 campus managers have been recruited in schools. He said that 118 schools have been converted into Schools of Eminence and Rs 143 crore has been released to strengthen the infrastructure of these schools during 2024-25.
MLA Jimpa flagged off the awareness campaign at Government Elementary Smart School Shergarh. At Government Elementary Smart School Aslamabad, he said that the Punjab government will not let any shortage come in the development of schools and providing quality education to the students. On this occasion, the school principal, staff and Mayor Surinder Kumar, Gau Seva Commission members Jaspal Chechi, Sandeep Chechi, Manoj Dutta, Professor Bahadur Singh Sneet, Panch Rajinder Shergarh, Jagtar Singh, Mukti Ram etc. were present with him.
