SAS Nagar, November 25 - Fortis Hospital, Mohali organized an awareness session on the use of antibiotic drugs on the occasion of World Antibiotic Awareness Week.

On this occasion, Dr. Shivani Juneja Bedi, associate consultant of the hospital's pharmacology department, made the staff aware about the responsible use of antibiotic drugs. On this occasion, a public awareness session on the role of antibiotic drugs in health care was also conducted.

"Misuse of antibiotic drugs can lead to drug addiction, allergies, incorrect solutions and in some cases death," said Dr Bedi. Therefore, one should always consult a doctor before taking antibiotic medicines.
