Una, December 1: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri held an important meeting with the officials and panchayat secretaries of Haroli development block on Sunday and gave necessary guidelines to speed up the overall development of the area. In this meeting held in the SDM office auditorium in Haroli, the Deputy Chief Minister set the goal of making Haroli competitive in the field of development not only at the state level but also at the national level.
The Deputy Chief Minister asked the officials to set a time limit for development works and took feedback on the works going on in the panchayats. He gave clear instructions that the budget sanctioned to the panchayats should not be stopped under any circumstances, and gave strict instructions to the officials regarding stopping the funds. Apart from this, Panchayat Secretaries were directed to prepare a complete list of the works done in their areas, so that transparency and accountability of the works can be ensured.

'Best Panchayat Secretary' award will be given for excellent work
Mukesh Agnihotri also announced that secretaries of panchayats of Haroli assembly constituency will be honored for their excellent work. The secretary doing excellent work will be awarded the honor of 'Best Panchayat Secretary'. This initiative will be important in encouraging good work at the panchayat level and motivating employees to excel.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister distributed cheques worth Rs 5.20 lakh from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to the beneficiaries of Haroli Assembly constituency. This amount has been released to provide relief to needy and poor families.
Congress leader Ranjeet Rana, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal, SP Rakesh Singh, SDM Vishal Sharma, BDO Virendra Kumar Kaushal, Panchayat Secretary, JE Technician and Gram Sevak were also present in the meeting.
