Garhshankar, January 5- Harjot Roy of Parowal village near Garhshankar recently secured second position in Olympic Heavy Weight Lifting held at NESCO Mumbai. In this regard, Raju Brothers Welfare Society UK Punjab family and Amarpreet Singh Lali constituency in-charge Congress felicitated Harjot Roy and congratulated the family.
On this occasion, Happy Sadhowal and Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Lucky Billardon said that it is a matter of great pride for us that our talented youth has won a silver medal in heavy weight lifting. Which is a great example for the young generation. He said that Harjot Rai will leave no stone unturned to make the name of the region famous in the country and abroad.
On this occasion, he appealed to the government to provide employment to the youth from the government quota.
