Special Operations Cell arrests three Babbar Khalsa terrorists

Mohali, March 15- The State Special Operations Cell Mohali on Saturday busted a terror module of Pakistan-based Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda by arresting three suspected terrorists.

Mohali, March 15- The State Special Operations Cell Mohali on Saturday busted a terror module of Pakistan-based Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda by arresting three suspected terrorists.
The arrested accused have been identified as Jagjit Singh alias Jaggi and Shubham Khelbude (both from Nanded, Maharashtra) and Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa from Nurpur Bedi in Ropar.
Out of these, Jagjit Singh alias Jaggi is a co-accused in several criminal cases in Maharashtra. He allegedly played a key role in facilitating logistics, safehouse and coordination for the shooters involved in the Nanded murder case on February 10.
A pistol with 8 live cartridges and a pump-action gun with 15 live cartridges have been recovered from them. The investigation has also revealed the role of a former associate of Rinda, jailed gangster Dilpreet Baba, who had arranged shelters for the accused in Punjab.
A case has been registered in this regard at the Special Operations Cell, Mohali Police Station. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
