Maur Mandi, March 16- Tejinder Singh of village Sandoha committed suicide in England after getting fed up with his wife. According to the information received, Tejinder Singh had taken a loan of lakhs of rupees and sent his wife Manjit Kaur to England. After that, he also wanted to go there but his wife told him that she no longer needed him and had nothing to do with him.
She is living with a young man named Lovepreet Singh. But Tejinder Singh thought that he would go to England and win her over. But on reaching England, his wife did not even call him. And saddened by this, young Tejinder Singh ended his life.
Yesterday, the dead body of Tejinder Singh reached India. In this regard, today the victim's family along with the villagers and the Bharatiya Kisan Union surrounded the police station and staged a dharna and raised slogans against the police administration. The victim's family alleged that earlier the police had refused to file a case against the accused and said that there is no case in this regard and said that only the local government can do it.
The victim's family has demanded that the accused who forced Tejinder Singh to commit suicide be booked and sent to jail and that Tejinder Singh's wife be deported. SHO Maur Paramveer Singh assured the victim's family that action will be taken against the accused soon.
