Bangana, March 13- Under the district level program, a one day awareness camp was organized at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government College Bangana on the topics of Vo-Din Scheme, Menstrual Hygiene Management, Anemia and the First One Thousand Days of the Child. The chief guest of the program was the Principal of the college Dr. Ramesh Thakur while District Program Officer Narendra attended as a special guest.
During this, Medical Officer of CSC Bangana Dr. Priyanka Hira gave detailed information on Vo-Din Scheme, Menstrual Hygiene Management Anemia and the First 1000 Days of the Child. He said that this event is an important initiative towards increasing health, hygiene and social awareness among the students. He also inspired the youth towards healthy lifestyle and women empowerment.
Competitions like speech competition, poetry recitation, poster making, solo dance and group dance, and skit presentation were also organized in the program. The candidates who won these competitions were also honored by the chief guest by giving prizes.
On this occasion, District Coordinator Mission Shakti Isha Chaudhary, Gender Expert, Rekha, Financial Literacy Expert DHEW Naveen Thakur, College NSS Program Officer Professor Sikandar, NCC Officer Dr. Vinod and other dignitaries were present.
