Beneficiaries can do their own survey on Aawas Plus mobile application

He said that the beneficiaries can also apply by downloading the application from Google Play Store and PMAYG.nic.in portal and conducting the survey themselves. The survey can be done both online and offline, in which the data of the entire family will be recorded and the house will also be geo-tagged.
Jatin Lal said that if any family or person is eligible for the scheme, then he can do his own survey through the above mobile application. In this, this survey can be done through face authentication, Aadhaar, e-KYC. If that family is found eligible, then after verification it will also be included in the eligibility list. With this mobile application, registration for family eligibility can be done only once from one mobile number. In this, it will be mandatory for the person registering to give complete information of his family such as Aadhaar number, bank account number.
He said that apart from this, for offline survey, surveyors nominated/registered earlier at the Gram Panchayat level will visit the houses of eligible beneficiaries and conduct the survey through face authentication and Aadhaar e-KYC using this mobile application. On the basis of the survey, houses will be sanctioned to eligible beneficiaries in the coming years.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that under the scheme, people having three-wheeler/four-wheeler, Kisan Credit Card of Rs. 50,000 or more, any member of whose family is in government job, monthly family income of more than Rs. 15,000 or two and half acres or more of irrigated land or more than 5 acres of non-irrigated land, three-wheeler or four-wheeler of agriculture equipment, income tax payers, enterprise income tax payers and families having non-agricultural enterprises registered with the government will not be eligible for this survey.
