By practicing yoga, we not only become physically healthy but also mentally strong. She said that under the CM's Yoga Shala being run in the district on the orders of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, expert trainers in the entire district are connecting people with a healthy lifestyle through yoga.
He said that for the ‘CM’s Yogashala’ in Mohali, trainer Sonia is conducting 6 yoga classes daily at Nayan Gaon, in which the first class is held at Prachin Panchmukhi, Shiv Mandir, Main Market from 10.55 am to 11.55 am, the second class is held at Adarsh ??Nagar, near Baba Balak Nath Mandir from 12.10 pm to 01.10 pm, the third class is held at Adarsh ??Nagar, near Negi General Store from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The fourth class is held at Nirankari Bhawan near Adarsh ??Nagar from 04.05 pm to 05.05 pm, the fifth class is held at Adarsh ??Nagar from 5.10 pm to 6.10 pm and the sixth class is held at Adarsh ??Nagar from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm, where yoga training is provided without charging any fee.
SDM Mohali said that trainer Sonia is organizing 6 yoga sessions a day as per the convenience of the people and connecting them to a healthy lifestyle. He said that this is the first time that the Punjab government has done this that keeping in mind the physical and mental well-being of the common people, free yoga classes have been arranged for them. He appealed to the people to take maximum benefit of ‘CM Yogashala’. Yoga trainer Sonia says that people associated with yoga are feeling healthy with continuous yoga practice.
He said that keeping in mind the busyness of the common people, the timings of these sessions have been kept very flexible which start from 10.55 am and continue till 7.15 pm. He said that keeping in mind the convenience of the common people, these sessions are being organized in parks, community centers and dharamshalas located near their homes so that maximum people can get the benefit of yoga classes.
