Youth should not adopt illegal means to go abroad - Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

He said that human trafficking is very dangerous and naïve people easily fall into the trap of fraudulent agents, leading to the wastage of crores of rupees.

He said that human trafficking is very dangerous and naïve people easily fall into the trap of fraudulent agents, leading to the wastage of crores of rupees.
The NRI Minister met NRI Raj Bhanot at his residence in Aud in the presence of Chairman Punjab Container and Warehouse Corporation and MLA Banga Dr Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, Vice Chairman Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation Kuljit Singh Sarhal and Trustee of Nagar Sudhar Trust Nawanshahr Harjot Kaur Lohatia. Speaking on the occasion of the meeting, the Cabinet Minister also urged NRI Punjabis to create awareness among the people and stop their brothers, sisters and relatives living here from going abroad illegally.
He said that if one has to go abroad, one should get good education and a good job. He made an emotional appeal to the parents that they should not send their young sons and daughters to their deaths like this. He said that the deported people are our own people, not criminals. These people have been duped by some rogue travel agents. They have lost lakhs and crores of rupees and have also suffered terrible torture, due to which we Delhiites sympathize with them. Reacting to the statement made by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar about these migrants, he said that these are our children and Indians, who got trapped for the sake of their stomach and bread.
He said that we believe that such cases need to be considered with sympathy. He said that the Punjab government has launched a big campaign against the travel agents involved in human trafficking cases and the Chief Minister has given strict instructions to all the officers and police to take strict action against anyone found involved in human trafficking. The Cabinet Minister said that the dark period had put Punjab in economic crisis and in the last 30-35 years if anyone has saved the state then it is the NRI brothers. He said that Punjab resides in the hearts of NRI Punjabis and they have always been connected with Punjab and are contributing significantly to the prosperity and progress of Punjab. He appealed to the NRI Punjabis to remain connected to their roots in this way for the strength of Punjab. He assured the NRI Punjabis that the state government is always with them to solve their problems and concerns and no stone will be left unturned to help the NRI Punjabis.
During this, he instructed the officers present on the spot to prepare an estimate and start work soon to improve the condition of the roads behind the Aud Hospital. During this, the stage was conducted by Vipin Bhanot.
