Una, 28 February- Seva Raksha Prayas (SRP) Sanstha Poliyan Purohit organized a sweater distribution program in Primary School Chakk Sarai of Amb subdivision on Friday. Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal attended the program as chief guest in which he presented sweaters to 276 children of Chakk Sarai, Ripoh Misra, Ripoh Muchliyan, Suri and Dhar Gujra schools.
The Deputy Commissioner said that these sweaters have been made available to children from nursery to 5th class by SRP Sanstha. Appreciating the social reform work of Seva Raksha Prayas Sanstha, he said that such social organizations play an important role in bringing positive change in the society. He appreciated the efforts being made by SRP Sanstha in the field of education.
The Deputy Commissioner also met school children and motivated the children to bring positive change in their lives. He said that education is the only medium through which the goals of life can be achieved. Also, he advised the children to keep working towards their set goals with confidence and positive thinking.
Sushma Sharma, Director of Seva Raksha Prayas Sanstha, said that the organization is working diligently to provide financial and health related help to school children.
On this occasion, Director of the organization Sushma Sharma, co-founder of the organization Narendra Sharma, Principal of Chakk Sarai School Shashi Kumari, CHT Iqbal Rafi and others were present.
