Special Program-Special Campaign Dedicated to Environment Protection and Greenery.

Chandigarh, September 17 - Haryana Environment and Forest Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that a special program will be run across the state from September 17 to October 2 to protect the environment and increase greenery. The aim of this campaign is to convey the message of cleanliness of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi to the masses and to take Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's One Tree Mother's Name campaign to villages and cities.

Chandigarh, September 17 - Haryana Environment and Forest Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that a special program will be run across the state from September 17 to October 2 to protect the environment and increase greenery. The aim of this campaign is to convey the message of cleanliness of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi to the masses and to take Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's One Tree Mother's Name campaign to villages and cities.
Giving detailed information in this regard, the Forest Minister said that the Haryana Forest Department has prepared a special action plan to make this program successful. Under this plan, the slogan One Tree is the support of thousands of breaths, Plant today, save tomorrow will be widely propagated. In this series, Namo Van or parks will be established at 75 places in the state. These parks will be a gift to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday from the people of Haryana.
He said that on September 25, on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Jayanti, a special program will be organized in which a Shramdaan campaign will be launched for one day, one hour, by imbibing the cleanliness message of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. On this day, all the officers and employees of the Forest Department will perform Shramdaan not only in their offices but also at different places and will give the message of cleanliness to the society. He said that this message of cleanliness and greenery is not limited to meetings only but to convey it to the common people, four special mobile vans have been prepared by the department. These vans will be operated in all the circles and districts of the state. In the North Circle, the campaign will be run for three days at each place in Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Ambala districts. Similarly, in the Central Circle, the van will also be active for three days in Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak and Jhajjar. Through these vans, the common man will be motivated for environmental protection and cleanliness.
Rao Narbir Singh appealed to the people of the state that every citizen should ensure their active participation in the campaign in the name of one tree for mother. He especially appealed to the youth and students to participate in programs related to environment and cleanliness during this program and motivate their family, society and the state.
He said that during the special program, the forest department will also organize slogan writing, painting competition and other cultural activities for school children so that awareness about environment and cleanliness can be created among the children from childhood. He said that if even the small children of the society think and take steps in this direction, then definitely not only Haryana but the entire country will be able to become clean and green.
Rao Narbir said that this special program is not just a government formality but it is an appeal for the responsibility of every citizen. If all people come together to plant a tree and make the concept of cleanliness a part of life, then environmental protection will not be a distant dream but a reality of the future.
