Nawanshahr- Dedicated to the 556th birth anniversary of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the 18th special Gurmat Samagam was organized by the Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society Nawanshahr under the series of district-level Gurmat Samagams at Gurdwara Sri Charan Kanwal Sahib Patshahi Chhevin Jindowal Banga with great love, enthusiasm and devotion by the entire Sangat.

The event began with the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji by the Istri Satsang Sabha Banga. After the recitation of Rehras Sahib Ji, the great Kirtaniya of the Panth, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Ji, Shant Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib, enthralled the Sangat with kirtan in the ancient style on string instruments. During the kirtan, he gave the audience a glimpse of the Rabab, Taus and Sarangi, which have been creating the popular string instruments since the time of the Gurus.
Giani Sarabjit Singh Ji of Ludhiana, a great scholar of the Panth and the chief patron of the Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society, who specially arrived at the event, connected the audience to the Guru's feet with the thoughts of Gurbani and strengthened the principles of Gurmat.
On this occasion, the chief servant of the society, Mr. Surjit Singh, thanked the administrators and the entire Sadh Sangat and shared information about the various services being done by the society in the field of Gurmat and social welfare.
