Nawanshahr - Block Agriculture Officer Nawanshahr Dr. Raj Kumar has said that the rain that happened last night will work like butter for wheat and other crops. He said that if any farmer sees pest or disease attack on Rabi crops, then he can contact the experts of the Agriculture Department.
He said that the department has gypsum available. Which is being given to the farmers at the rate of Rs 205 per 50 kg bag. He strongly appealed to all the farmer brothers and said that if any farmer is not able to upload his land record (land sowing) on ??the portal under PM Samman Nidhi Yojana, then he can contact the department.
On this occasion, Agriculture Development Officer Nawanshahr Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Agriculture Sub Inspector Sarabjit Singh and Eng. Chandan Sharma were present with him.
