Una, 21 February- Under the Clean City-Prosperous City Campaign, an awareness camp was organised on Friday at the Inter-State Bus Station Una with the representatives of the Taxi Union for better disposal of waste management. During this, cleaning supervisor Vijay Kumar made the representatives of the Taxi Union aware about the proper disposal of wet and dry waste.
He appealed to the taxi drivers not to throw garbage here and there in the open during the tour but to put the garbage in the dustbins installed for collecting garbage so that the surrounding environment remains clean and beautiful.
Apart from this, Taxi Union President Surinder Sharma said that more and more passengers will be motivated not to throw garbage in the open during the tour and to dispose of the garbage properly so that people can get a clean and pure environment.
During this, Taxi Union President Surendra Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Taxi Union representatives and taxi drivers along with other people were present.
