Hoshiarpur 14 February- Recently, the book "Punjabi Modern Dialects" of famous writer Manjit Kaur Gill, resident of America, was launched on the internet. This sixth book is on dialects, which she has named after the colourful land of Punjab.
She told that the reason for writing the book on dialects was the long standing demand for new dialects by our younger sister Dharamvir Dhaliwal, who loves Punjabi in the city of Abbotsford, Canada, because she often organizes Punjabi fairs in her fields while handling the things of Punjabi heritage and I get the privilege of going to all the fairs. The book is getting a very good response from the readers on the internet and till now it has been read by many readers.
