Mohali 12 February: Today, on the occasion of the arrival of Dhan-Dhan Shri Guru Ravidas Bhagat Ji Maharaj Ji, MLA Kulwant Singh of Mohali Assembly Constituency participated in religious programs organized in various Gurudwaras and bowed his head in the Gurudwaras and received the blessings of the Guru.
MLA Kulwant Singh visited the Gurudwaras of Dhan-Dhan Shri Guru Ravidas Bhagat Ji Maharaj Ji in village Phase One, Phase Seven, Village Mataur and Village Mataran in Mohali after village Jhaampur in the morning. While talking to MLA Kulwant Singh, he said that Dhan-Dhan Shri Guru Ravidas Bhagat Ji Maharaj Ji arrived at a time when atrocities were being committed everywhere, especially on the exploited and there was an atmosphere of anarchy all over the world, at that time Bhagat Ravidas Ji Maharaj Ji showed the path of revolution to the people and gave the message of peace and equality everywhere.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that in this era of ultra-modern culture, we should make efforts to keep the young generation connected to our heritage and the birth anniversaries of Gurus, Pirs, Prophets and other religious events are also organized for this purpose so that the young generation can be connected to their heritage.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that today it is the moral responsibility of the parents to make meaningful efforts to inspire the children to follow the path shown by their Gurus and Pirs, because only then a child can take inspiration from home and become a source of inspiration for others in his environment.
He said that in that era, Bhagat Ravidas Ji gave the Dalits such a status that they could feel with pride and respect that they are also human beings. While addressing the congregations in various Gurudwaras related to the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, MLA Kulwant Singh congratulated everyone on the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Bhagat Ji Maharaj.
