
Guru Ravidas Naujawan Sabha, Village Dhamot Kalan honoured talented students.
Ludhiana:- Guru Ravidas Naujawan Sabha (Regd.), Dhamot Kalan honours talented students of government and private schools of the village every year. This tradition was started by the patron of the organization, late Gyani Sukhdev Singh Dhamot in the year 1999. Guru Ravidas Naujawan Sabha Dhamot Kalan organised its 25th annual prize distribution ceremony at late Shri Bachan Singh Community Hall, Dhamot under the supervision of Patron Shri Atma Singh Dhamot and President Shri Davinder Singh Dhamot. Naujawan Sabha celebrated the silver jubilee of the establishment of its organization this year.

The chief guest of this ceremony was Professor Kumar Sushil of Punjabi University Guru Kashi Campus Talwandi Sabo. GM Indrajit Kaur of ONGC, Mumbai attended the program as a special guest. Both the guests presented the 24th annual report of the society. In which the accounts of the previous year and detailed information about the activities of the society were given. On this occasion, Chief Guest Kumar Sushil spoke about the Bhakti movement and the contribution of Guru Ravidas Ji in building a better society. Master Darshandeep Singh Zargari inspired the children to focus on studies and do good deeds.
On this occasion, two documentary films made by Anmol Preet Kaur with the help of Rajdeep Singh Raju on the history of the community hall and the activities of Guru Ravidas Naujavan Sabha were shown. Mr. Manjit Singh of Bachan Gas Service, Ludhiana was also present in this program. He shared his views with everyone. In this program, the students of government and private schools who secured the first three positions in the session 2024 were honored by the society by giving mementoes and cash prizes.
On the occasion of the silver jubilee of the Sabha, an amount of Rs 31000/- was sent from Australia by Engineer Ravinder Singh to encourage the children. The students who secured the first three positions in the annual competitive examination of Prabuddha Bharat Foundation (Phagwara) Center Dhamot were honored with cash prizes. On this occasion, prominent social worker of village Dhamot, Sardar Kulwant Singh Gill (Retd.), A.G.M., Punjab National Bank expressed his views and thanked the guests, intellectuals, dignitaries, teachers, children and village Panchayat.

A grand exhibition of books was organized by Matani Book Center Khanna. The stage was managed by the Sabha's General Secretary Balveer Singh Dhamot and Anmolpreet Kaur. The program was broadcast live by Rajdeep Singh Raju on his social media page "Pind Dhamot Kalan". Special honor was given to Amandeep Singh Bhaji Sweet Shop and Pala Singh, members of Guru Ravidas Naujavan Sabha, who provide the service of preparing free langar in every program of the Sabha.
