Hoshiarpur- Following the guidelines of the Member Secretary of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, Mohali, the first National Lok Adalat of the year 2025 is being organized on 8 March 2025 in the district level and sub-division level courts under the leadership of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Dilbag Singh Johal. Giving information, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal said that in this National Lok Adalat, apart from the pending and pre-litigation cases going on in the courts, traffic challans will also be settled. It is important to inform the general public here that the traffic challans issued by the District Transport Office and if the name of the court is written on those traffic challans, then to pay that challan, the challan can be paid in Lok Adalat by giving a written application to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Hoshiarpur or the challan related application can be given in the office of District Legal Services Authority, New District and Sessions Court Complex.
Apart from this, the person to whom the challan has been issued can pay these challans by appearing in the court himself or through his lawyer.
