
Instructions to settle the applications coming through Seva Kendras on priority basis
Patiala, February 3 - On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav, Chief Minister Field Officer Dr. Navjot Sharma reviewed 438 types of services being provided to the people by various departments in the Seva Kendras being run with the aim of providing the best administrative services to the people of the state under one roof.

On this occasion, he directed all the departments to settle the applications coming through Seva Kendras on priority basis. During the meeting, the Chief Minister Field Officer reviewed the pending e-service cases in various departments of the district department wise and directed that the cases pending for more than 90 and 60 days should be settled immediately and its report should be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner's office.
He said that although the number of pending cases in e-service is very less, but if the file is not settled due to incomplete paper or any technical reason, then the officer should contact the Deputy Commissioner's office and ensure immediate settlement of the matter. Dr. Navjot Sharma said that every file applied through Seva Kendra is monitored online and for how many days the file is pending with which officer, it can also be seen online, so it should be ensured that the file is disposed of within the time prescribed for each service.
He said that the concerned officer will be responsible for unnecessary delay in any file of e-service. The Chief Minister's Field Officer said that the services available in Seva Kendras are being made available under one roof to make the everyday work of the common people easier, so it should be ensured that the files applied through e-service are disposed of without any delay so that people can get services in a timely manner.
