Mohali- Mohali Taking a significant step towards strengthening public safety and law and order, Amari Hills, Miyapur Chengalpattu, New Chandigarh has set up a modern police beat box in collaboration with Mohali Police. The initiative aims to strengthen the legal framework and ensure effective monitoring. It was inaugurated by DIG (Ropar Range) Harcharan Singh Bhullar. During this, SSP Mohali, Deepak Pareek was also present.
DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar said that this initiative will prove to be very useful and more such booths will be set up in the future. He said that Mohali will be made a model district through this scheme, where the security system will be further strengthened.
He said that every village has been covered under this scheme, which will ensure security in rural areas as well. Apart from this, PCR (Police Control Room) vans will be able to stop at these booths and patrol, which will make the security system more effective.
DIG Bhullar also said that strict vigil will be kept on criminals, and these booths will also prove helpful in investigation work. He said that the presence of these booths on the district boundary will help in controlling crimes and this project will be beneficial for the entire district.
Along with this, the entire area will be monitored through CCTV cameras, which will make the security system even stronger.
SSP Mohali, Deepak Pareek highlighted the importance of modern police equipment. He said, “This modern police beat box is equipped with technologically advanced security equipment, which will further strengthen the security of the area and ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.”
