Hoshiarpur- Voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Police Hospital Police Line Hoshiarpur under the able leadership of SSP Hoshiarpur Mr. Surinder Lamba IPS with the support of Medical Officer of Police Hospital Dr. Ashish Minhas and the team of Blood Bank of Civil Hospital.
45 units of blood were collected from the Blood Bank of Civil Hospital under the leadership of BTO Dr. Gurika. Most of the blood donors were police personnel. SSP Mr. Surinder Lamba ji in his address appreciated the social welfare commitment of the police personnel and the fruitful efforts of the management team. He said that this initiative of voluntary blood donation by the police personnel highlights the dedication towards Bhai Charak Seva and saving lives of people.
Senior Medical Officer Incharge Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur Dr. Swati Shinhamar appreciated the team for conducting the camp smoothly and assured support for such health programs in future also. On this occasion, after providing refreshments to the blood donors, they were honored with medals and certificates, which generated a feeling of pride and inspiration in the participants.
In the end, Dr. Ashish Minhas thanked all the officers, officials, employees, management staff, media personnel and dignitaries who had come.
