In this awareness camp, detailed information was given about reducing the demand for drugs and empowerment of disabled people by the department, disability relief allowance, Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme, Disabled Marriage Scheme, Disabled Scholarship Scheme, Disabled Skill Development, National Trust, UDID (Disability Identity Card), Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Home Construction Grant, Follow-up Program, Inter-caste Marriage Award Scheme, Computer Application, National Family Assistance Scheme etc. as well as various Acts/Rules.
Jatinder Sharma said that the young generation is the future of our country. The young generation should focus on making their lives successful. He said that the problem of drug addiction is becoming worrisome. Drugs have the greatest impact on the youth. Therefore, saving teenagers and youth from drugs is the biggest priority under the Drug Free Campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to create awareness among the youth as well as to take effective steps for prevention.
During this, Secretary of Out Reach Drop In Center, Una, Narinder Premi also gave detailed information to the children about drugs and inspired them to make their lives successful by staying away from drugs and working hard. On this occasion, about 80 participants including Ramesh Saini, Davinder Mahajan, Bindu Mahajan participated.
