Hoshiarpur - On the occasion of New Year, a special program was organized by the District Red Cross Society today, in which Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal distributed relief material to the needy. Quantum Papers Mill cooperated with the Red Cross Society under CSR, which is making significant contribution in the field of social service. During the program, sewing machines were distributed to the needy, motorized tricycles to the disabled, ration kits, hygiene kits and blankets. These items were distributed to those who are struggling to earn their livelihood and become self-reliant in their daily lives.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal wished the district residents a Happy New Year and said that the New Year is the time for all of us to take new resolutions. He said that we should ensure that we make every possible effort to help the needy people of our society. This collective effort will make the society better and stronger. He appealed to everyone to contribute to social service according to their capacity and come forward to help the needy.
Komal Mittal expressed gratitude to Quantum Papers Mill for donating 50 motorized tricycles to the District Red Cross Society under CSR and providing assistance for medical relief fund. She appreciated the commitment of Quantum Papers Mill towards social service and said that the contribution of such organizations provides great relief to the needy section of the society. She also praised the District Red Cross Society and said that the organization is constantly playing a leading role in helping the needy.
