Chandigarh, August 29 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini appealed to the youth to preserve the glorious traditions of their ancestors and make education the mainstay of their lives. Education is the only powerful tool through which positive change can be brought in the society. With education, new thinking, confidence and opportunities for progress are available. Along with education, the youth should also adopt moral values, so that they can play their meaningful role in nation building.

The Chief Minister was addressing the 128th foundation ceremony of Shri Sumer Educational Institute in Jodhpur, Rajasthan as the chief guest on Friday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored 800 people who have performed well in education and other social fields. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Soni Devi Gehlot Pavilion and Ground and the statues of Shri Bhamashah Ji and social worker Shri Devi Lal Gehlot Ji. Their statues will continue to inspire the coming generations to adopt their works, principles and ideals.
Shri Naib Singh Saini, while congratulating the administrators and teachers of the educational institution, said that social workers had laid the foundation of this institution 128 years ago. It is not only a witness to our freedom movement, but is also one of the institutions that contributed to the development of India after independence. He said that he has come to this program not as the Chief Minister, but as a member of the society, your brother and son.
The Chief Minister said that the people of Haryana have given our government a historic opportunity to serve the people for the third time. This public support has been received in view of the role played by Haryana in realizing the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation of the world by the year 2047. This public support has been received for the spirit of nationalism, good governance, Antondaya philosophy and development for all. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, today the country is rapidly moving towards becoming a developed India.
Be it the development of infrastructure, increasing the income of farmers, empowering women or providing new employment opportunities to the youth, the country has made rapid progress in every field. From the Defense Corridor to the Freight Corridor, from Bharatmala to Sagarmala, the Central Government is working on mission mode to spread the network of roadways, railways and airbase connectivity across the country.
He said that Mali Sansthan Jorpur has been making an unparalleled contribution in the field of education and social service for the last 128 years. By providing facilities like training, employment, scholarship and free coaching to the students of the society, they have been made self-reliant. He said that the glorious history of the society has been full of struggle, sacrifice and service, which has given the country brave warriors, scholars, artists and sportsmen.
Great personalities like Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, Jagdev Prasad Kushwaha, Major Dhyan Chand and Nekchand Saini have left an indelible mark in the field of education, social reform, sports and art. This shows that when the society comes together and preserves its cultural heritage and bases it on education and service, then progress and change are definitely possible.
