On the third day of the 'Indian History Congress', representatives from India and abroad presented research papers

Patiala, December 30- On the third day of the 83rd session of the 'Indian History Congress' being held at Punjabi University, representatives from various states of India as well as from abroad participated in the conference and presented their research papers on various aspects of history.

Various historical points emerged in the constructive debate organized in the context of research papers. Local Secretary of this session from Punjabi University, Prof. Mohammad Idris said that in this session of the Indian History Congress, constructive academic discussions were held in panels related to ancient India, medieval India, modern India, contemporary India, archaeology and countries other than India.
He said that apart from these panels, special sessions were organized on 'Punjab: Past and Present', Aligarh Historians Panel, Urban History and Dalit History, in which important discussions on history were held through the views presented by scholars and researchers. In this 83rd Samagam, special time was also kept to remember the unparalleled martyrdom of Chote Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh and to know the contribution of former Prime Minister of India, late Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Income Tax Department Principal Director Dr. Ashish Abrol and Malerkotla MLA Dr. Mohammad Jameel were present in a dignified manner to pay tribute to the departed souls.
