PGIMER, Chandigarh- Department of Transfusion Medicine organised two blood donation camps on December 23, 2024 under the leadership of Prof RR Sharma, Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Firstly, 14 blood units were collected by M/s Kongnisol D-253, Sector 75, Mohali under the leadership of Dr Sandhya Sadhanand in collaboration with Team Spreading Smiles Foundation and secondly, 51 blood units were collected under the leadership of Dr Manpreet at Bar Association Court Complex Derabassi. Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh sincerely thanks all its volunteer donors who came forward to donate on this occasion.
The blood and components donated help meet the needs of critically ill patients at the institute.
