Punjab Police listened to the problems of the people at Shushma Joy Nest Society, Zirakpur as part of Project Sampark.

S.A.S.Nagar, December 21, 2024: As part of the series of campaigns launched by Punjab Police as Project Sampark, as per the guidelines given by SP Deepak Pareek, Karnail Singh, Deputy Captain Police, Traffic, today organized a meeting regarding the problems of the people at Shushma Joy Nest Society, near Rooftop Lights, Zirakpur.

S.A.S.Nagar, December 21, 2024: As part of the series of campaigns launched by Punjab Police as Project Sampark, as per the guidelines given by SP Deepak Pareek, Karnail Singh, Deputy Captain Police, Traffic, today organized a meeting regarding the problems of the people at Shushma Joy Nest Society, near Rooftop Lights, Zirakpur.
During the meeting, society residents were invited to voice public grievances and resolve local concerns. It was encouraged to strengthen the trust and cooperation between police and citizens. During this meeting, the public demanded installation of traffic lights at road cuts in their area, on which the concerned public was assured about the installation of traffic lights by coordinating with the concerned departments. Along with this, people were also made aware about cyber crime cases and traffic rules.
People were told that a child below 18 years of age should not be allowed to drive a vehicle and it was also told that if a child below 18 years of age drives a vehicle, then his parents can be sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000. The person giving a vehicle to a child below 18 years of age will also be sentenced to 3 years. Or there can be a fine. Along with this, people will be provided with the services run by the government to take the injured people to the hospital in road accidents.
People were made aware about the Farishte Yojana and were told that if a person has an accident, if he helps the injured person, then he will be given Rs 2000 by the government (under the Farishte Yojana). People were appealed that if you have given any of your flats or houses on rent, then definitely get the police verification of your tenants done.
