Garhshankar October 25 - On the call of the United Farmers' Front regarding the lifting of paddy from the markets and the demand for bardana, farmers' organizations organized a dharna on the Garhshankar-Hoshiarpur main road at Garhshankar today and blocked the traffic. 
Under the leadership of Kul Hind Kisan Sabha provincial leader Darshan Singh Mattu and Chaudhary Achar Singh, various farmer leaders raised slogans against the Center and the Punjab government and said that there should be no lifting of paddy in the markets today and there should be a shortage of paddy. Due to this, farmers, artisans and laborers are getting disturbed. 
But it seems that the central and state governments are not serious about it. On this occasion, Kul Hind Kisan Sabha provincial leader Darshan Singh Mattu, Chaudhary Achar Singh, Janwadi Istri Sabha provincial leader Bibi Subhash Mattu, Kirti Kisan Sabha leader Kulwinder Singh Chahal, Harmesh Dhesi and Kulbhushan Kumar warned the government and said that if the government If the management of paddy lifting and bardana is not done soon, all the farmers' organizations will start a strong struggle. The dharna ended after SDM Garhshankar Harbans Singh, who reached the spot, assured the farmers' leaders.
