Pythian games started in Panchkula, 110 participants from Una are taking part

Una, 13 December- The National Cultural Pythian Games 2024 started yesterday at Tau Lal Stadium in Panchkula. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Pythian Games, President of Himachal Pradesh Pythian Council and Additional General Secretary of Pythian Council India and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal attended as a special guest.

Una, 13 December- The National Cultural Pythian Games 2024 started yesterday at Tau Lal Stadium in Panchkula. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Pythian Games, President of Himachal Pradesh Pythian Council and Additional General Secretary of Pythian Council India and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal attended as a special guest.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the Pythian Games are an incredible global platform to promote our cultural heritage. It is not just a celebration of talent, but a step towards building a more inclusive, culturally rich and globally connected India. He said that apart from India, participants from 12 other countries are also representing the Pythian Games. In the Pythian Games 2024, players of Una district are participating in these games according to their talent. He said that the Pythian Games are a good platform for the young players of Himachal to showcase their talent at the national level.
The Deputy Commissioner said that a total of 110 participants from Una district are taking part in these world class historical games. He said that music, dance, singing, poetry, drawing and painting, traditional games musical chair, roller musical chair, sack race, mallakhamb, yoga, arm wrestling, tug of war and tennis volleyball, martial arts Gatka, Taekwondo, Karate, Bagatur and Muaythai and revival of ancient game mace fighting, e-sports, 50-ball cricket will be the center of special attraction in the Pythian Games which will continue till December 15.
