Yesterday, the health team at the local Verka Milk Plant gave information about the symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment of this terrible disease. They were told that AIDS is a terrible disease about which it is very important to be aware. AIDS is caused by a virus called HIV. The initial symptoms of HIV include fever, fatigue, muscle aches, joint pain, headache, cold, dry cough, marks on the face, etc.
The main reasons for its spread are sharing needles and syringes, and blood transfusion of an HIV-infected person into a healthy person. This disease can be transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse and from an HIV-infected mother to her child before or after delivery. He said that AIDS cannot be transmitted by touching an AIDS victim, shaking hands, eating from utensils used by them or using equipment used by them. All these are misconceptions.
The diagnosis and treatment of this disease is completely free in various government health institutions. For information, helpline 1097 can be contacted.
