
Government should start international flights to pay true tribute to Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh: Parvinder Singh Sohana

He said that the true tribute to Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh would be to start international flights from this airport.

He said that for this international airport built on the land of Punjab, the land of the farmers of Mohali constituency was acquired and the people of Punjab were very keen that now international flights would start from here and they would not have to travel a long distance to Delhi for which both extra money and time are wasted.
He said that the central government deliberately did not allow international flights to start from here. He said that the Chief Minister should put pressure on the central government to start flights to Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe from here so that the entire region of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir can get the benefit of this.
